EXECUTIVE OFFICERS
Our Leadership
Lacey Reynolds is a third year student at the University of Texas at Austin (following in her grandfather's footsteps, a precursor of UT), majoring in Government with a minor in African and African American Diaspora studies. Lacey is on the pre-medical and pre-law track pursuing an MD/JD dual degree.

A few of Lacey's involvement on campus includes serving as an executive member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and president of the Onyx Honor; Onyx is the first and only black honor society at The University of Texas. Additionally, Lacey was an Orientation Advisor for the new incoming students at the University. Last but most certainly not least, Lacey is an alum of the Texas Legislative Internship Program (TLIP), where she was a Legislative intern for the 88th Texas Legislature Session. Lacey received a Gold service award for her community service. She also received the 1st Annual President's Award for Young Adults, presented by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.

Internal Vice President
Caylah Carey is a fourth-year student at the University of Texas at Austin, where she is pursuing a major in Human Dimensions Organization, along with a minor in African and African American Diaspora Studies. Her academic journey has been marked by active engagement in various campus organizations, fostering her development into a leader with exceptional communication and quick problem-solving skills. Caylah is passionate about serving her peers, dedicating her time to helping fellow students access resources vital for excelling at the University. Beyond her campus involvement, Caylah's global perspective was broadened during a transformative study abroad experience in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. In addition to her own study abroad experience in Dubai and Abu Dhabi last spring, she has also supported fellow students in securing a position and funding for the same trip as well. Currently holding the esteemed position of Internal Vice President in the Onyx Honor Society, Caylah is poised to cultivate the organization with care, opportunity, and her well-honed leadership acumen. Her commitment to empowering and aiding others reflects a belief that any dream you have is achievable with a strong community behind you.
EVAN CRAIG
External Vice President
Evan is a second-year student at the University of Texas at Austin, Where he is currently studying African and African Diaspora Studies with a minor in History, Business, and Media Studies. In his academic journey, this Austin native has made extensive work as the Political Action Chair of Black Student Alliance, Community Engagement chair of Texas Black Lens, and External Vice President of Onyx Honor Society. He is also the Co-founder of The Black Studies Experience, A student organization working to bring Black Studies students together to show potential and opportunities that come out of studying African and African Diaspora Studies.

Tyra is a senior Government major from Freeport, TX. Outside of Onyx, Tyra is a member of many student organizations such as NAACP, Minority Women Pursuing Law, and She's the First. When she is not in a meeting for a student organization you can find her listening to music or enjoying time with family and friends.
